Toad® software, from Quest Software, is a development tool that enables the rapid creation and execution of queries, automatic database object management, and the development of SQL code. Toad provides utilities to compare, extract, and search for objects; manage projects; import/export data; and administer the database.

Toad for Oracle and other commercial relational databases is available under license purchase, under a variety of editions. Toad for MySQL is freeware.

A general site, Toad World, provides community tips and other guidance on using the utility.
