Configuration: Stories Layout

The Story layout is built around the scones tagger. As presented here, it is not really a different layout (though it can be combined with such; see below), but is a means for doing additional tagging on documents, stories or narratives. It does this extra tagging via the scones system.
Site Administrator Perspective
The site administrator, or the designated representative, is the individual responsible for menu linking to stubs and filling in the fields to make the layout active and live. The specific steps this individual must follow for the WebMap layout includes:
- Be logged in as an administrator
- Go to the active menu stub for the item under consideration; click on the stub link.
- Pick Edit; you will see the standard edit form
- After standard entries, go on to enter your story text into the standard text entry editor:
- Note the "tag" field below the text form; check this to ensure extra concept and entity tagging (the default is for this field to be UNCHECKED).
What this system does is to:
- Do full-text indexing on the document for standard text searching, and
- Via scones, also tag concepts in your local ontology and entities within your named entity dictionaries for use by other conStruct widgets.
Developer Perspective
