Adaptive Ontology Concept

An adaptive ontology is a conventional knowledge representational ontology that has added to it a number of specific best practices:
- It attempts to model the ABox and TBox constructs separately
- It includes typing information that relates specific types to different and appropriate display templates or visualization components
- It includes preferred labels for user interfaces, as well as alternative labels and hidden labels to assist lookups and matches, presented in language neutral means to enable multiple language support
- Its concepts and key entities are defined and scoped, and
- The design adheres to open world assumptions to enable growth and expansion.
